In the era of earth satellite observation and with the spreading of sensors all around the globe we can get realtime data about biogeochemistry of sea and costal areas, we can see with an incredible precision 20 meters under the water surface.
Sensors observe and detects, currents, temperature, chemical composition of waters and hundreds of other indicators giving us the possibility to know in advance if swimming in that specific area we will be touched by a jellyfish or an harmless leaf of posidonia.
Thanks to the Copernicus European Programme accessing all those information is free of charge and much more easy than only 3 years ago.
